Rest areas, Architecture, Technology and the like...

Having short attention spans, we are often side-tracked along our way, but, since we aren't usually going anywhere in particular, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, plus, we can always claim that we planned it!. It might be a town with an unusual name, an historical marker we'd read about, an especially attractive rest area or just some pretty trees - anything may trigger an excursion. Almost always, such diversions result in snapshots of whatever it might be or at least pictures of us trying to find our quarry. So, faced with the quandary of a bloated 'blog or simply filing the pictures away, never to be seen again, we decided to dress them up as "Side Trips". As my boss back in the sixties once observed, "Horse crap all over the barnyard is worthless, collect it up in a wheelbarrow and you have saleable manure!" So, here is our manure - enjoy.
